The Sir Vivian Richards Stadium was named after the famous West Indies Cricket Team Captain and was purpose built for use in the 2007 Cricket World Cup. The stadium usually caters for around 10,000 people, but temporary seating doubled this capacity for the 2007 World Cup. It has since been used for a successful music concert the likes of which was originally hoped to continue, flying the flag for Antigua.
